It’s Been a Slice!

Can you believe tomorrow, yes tomorrow is 2016?! A whole new year is ahead which means for me, a year of planning, getting excited over new adventures and travels, and what can I say – a year of new expectations. This blog has been a wonderful experience for me, and although I’m not ‘as far’ as I would have liked t be at this point, I’m still proud of everything I brought to the table. I thought I would take a quick moment, and thank you – yes you. You the reader who decided to stop by. You, the friend who decided to comment, say hi, and share your experience.

I would also like to thank Clint. He was one who pushed me in March to start this up, get it going, and support me through all of the exciting moments. This year had some highlights for sure…  “Kaitie, is dinner ready yet?” or “It looks so good… can we eat it yet?” and my favourite, “What do you mean not for another 30 minutes?”. Sweetheart, I appreciate this, and words can never express my gratitude for this amazing opportunity.

Now on to the good stuff… A little slice of the best of the best in 2015. Isn’t it funny how whatever you expectations are of a situation, they never seem to turn out that way? This was no exception!!

Counting from bottom up, the recipe that holds the Number 5 spot was from my exciting
Cook Once, Eat Thrice Series: Chicken Burrito Bowls!

Number 4 also brought the mexican inspired flavours with my Kid-Friendly Chicken Taco Bowls!

Number 3 did come as a surprise to me, but an exciting one. I love breakfast time with my family, and I’m happy to see you do too! So the next free weekend you have,
ask your kids to help you in the kitchen, and make a batch of these simply delicious
Apple Pie Pancakes!

Sliding into Number 2 wasn’t necessarily a recipe, but a post about more then the food…
The Small Things touched on the small details anyone can add when it comes to serving up a big meal, or dinner on a Tuesday night.

And the most popular recipe here on Fuchsia Freezer, and straight from my kitchen to you was…

Thank you all so much for having a wonderful year with me. I couldn’t be happier to end this year of such a good note! There are LOTS of amazing things coming in 2016 and I can’t wait to share them all with you! Have a Safe and Happy New Years!

Cheers! xo
