Chrissie’s Sparkling Peach Mango Refresher

It seems to me that this summer has been a real scorcher – or at least it has been for me since i’ve been pregnant the entire summer with no air conditioning… yes you read that right – no air conditioning. In saying that, I will give Clint credit and explain we did end up caving and getting a smaller portable unit for our bedroom since my feet and hands grew about 3 sizes and I could barely walk. Picture a waddle… like a duck crossing the hot road… not fun. With that said, I’m always on the hunt looking for something refreshing, delicious and easy. I know water is the best for you in the heat, and I drink ALOT of it (i’m lucky that my craving this time around was iced water… lots and lots of iced water… since it was 35 degree outside). Sometimes though I’m looking for something to step up my game, kick my taste buds up a notch and get a burst of flavour. That’s where today’s recipe by Chrissie (another stellar Foodie Mama) from The Busy Baker Blog comes into play. Her Sparkling Peach Mango Refresher is just what was called for, and the best part?! It’s waist-line friendly. The problem I find with some of these amazing cocktails, mocktails, and other smoothies you see all over the internet are packed with unnecessary amounts of sugar and additives… which means you’re drinking away useless unhealthy calories. These refreshers look like little glasses of juicy deliciousness with out all the added stuff that can go into canned drinks. With out further adoo, I hand this off to you my fellow Foodie Mama…

When it’s hotter than you-know-what outside you need a little something to help you cool off. I’m always looking for new and creative ways to enjoy frozen fruit during the summer months because it’s fast and easy, it’s healthy and colourful, and most importantly it’s COLD! This Sparkling Peach Mango Refresher is a healthy frozen blended drink that tastes like a mocktail, but without all that added sugary syrup. It’s super sweet and refreshing and I think you’re going to love it!

It’s a lovely sweet beverage that’s sure to impress your summer guests, but you don’t have to tell them that there’s only 1 Weight Watchers PointPlus in the entire recipe!
