The “Soon-to-be” Spring Mocktail
Happy Saturday Friends! I have to say I love appetizers, and I love happy hour! Last summer I went to Peterborough, Ontario for my cousins bachelorette & baby/wedding shower. I had an absolute blast, and ended up at a martini bar half way through the night. I had this drink (that I can’t remember the name of), but it had a similar taste to this.
Now since I’m pregnant: bye bye cocktails, hello mocktails!
This awesome martini-inspired drink comes at a perfect time. The bright colour and fun flavours makes me wish summer and the heat was here now. This recipe takes a total of 5 minutes to prepare, and the best part, you can make it per glass or by the pitcher.
- Cranberry Juice (I used diet so it wasn’t so sugary)
- Pineapple Juice
- Peach flavoured sparkling water
- ice!
- Add ice to a pitcher.
- Add 2 cups of cranberry juice, 3 cups of pineapple juice.
- Top with the peach sparkling water.
If you want, I’m also sharing per drink version. All you need to do is add ice to your glass, then 3/4 cup of cranberry juice, 1 cup of pineapple juice and top with the sparkling water.
Also, don’t forget to garnish! You and your possible guests are worth it! The twist of a lemon and a few extra cranberries in your drink make the presentation just that much more special. And you are worth it!
I served this during ‘happy hour’ at our house with my Roasted Garlic & Black Bean Salsa. It was a wonderful way to bring Clint and I together after a busy Saturday. Have a great weekend everyone, and I look forward to continuing this fun and exciting journey with you!
Cheers, Kaitie xo
What a pretty mocktail! I love the flavors in there and the use of cranberries to make it pretty!
I am SOOO ready for summer! This mocktail is exactly what I need to cool off! I am not a huge cranberry fan so I would use grape juice, but OHHH this looks great!!
I’m starring outside at a foggy rainstorm and we’ve had rain for about three weeks now with only one day of sun. I love this for the name alone and the hope that there will be spring! It sounds refreshing and fun. Always love a great mocktail!
We aren’t big drinkers, so I absolutely love this idea! Yum!
Gorgeous mocktail for spring! I have pure cranberry juice in the fridge and peach sparkling water so this is perfect!
What a yummy sounding mocktail! Would be great with a little booze added too 😉
I have so many friends that are expecting, it’s nice to have a good mocktail recipe!
I’m going to try this this weekend. I think this will be one of my favorite summer drinks because I love cranberry juice.
This looks so refreshing!! Wish I could have a glass right now!
Thank you for the mocktail recipes. I’m not much of a drinker myself, so I like serving beverages that the whole family can enjoy.
Exactly! It’s nice to be able to make a pitcher and serve with snacks etc for a Saturday afternoon get together!
This looks delicious and perfect for a summer BBQ. Pinned
This sounds so good! I love the set up too, very pretty!
This looks very refreshing! Never mixed cranberry and pineapple juice. Going to have to try this little gem of a drink this summer!
I could drink all of that in one sitting! Sounds delish!
Oh I did… I made them and enjoyed it all in one night…. It was so good!
Love this. I’m one of those weirdos who attempts to survive life without the help of alcohol, ever. It means I look kind of lame with my water bottle at parties, so thanks for this mocktail recipe. It looks fantastic.
I love that this is awesome in a pitcher if you’re hosting a baby shower or wedding shower, or you can make by the serving… You’re not stuck in having to make a pitcher just for one drink!
I’ve decided to up my hosting game this summer and my absolute favorite things to make are drinks! So this definitely comes at the perfect time. Can’t wait to try it out. This one, actually, could be good some for some “me time.” Forget the family! LOL
LOL I hope you guys enjoy as much as we did. It’s always nice to treat the kids every once in a while and by using the diet or low-cal version, I noticed the sugar amount dropped which is nice. I’m not a HUGE fan of plying my kids with sugary drinks, but this was just the right mix!
This looks so refreshing! A great way to sit outside and enjoy a summer breeze.
This sounds absolutely delicious. I could use the cranberry juice right now. I’m going to pin this one.
Mm… This is so perfect for summer! I love cranberry, so this sounds perfect!
That looks like the perfect summertime drink! Wish I’d had this recipe when I was pregnant!
It’s saved me a few times! Also great for any baby or wedding showers as a non-alcoholic option 🙂
Oh! How yummy! I love trying creative new drinks for the spring and summer time. I do monthly “meals” with some ladies at our base & this is a great way to share new drink ideas, that I learn from you all! Thanks for sharing!
Ooooo a mocktail!! I didn’t know these even existed. I haven’t had alcohol in a long time because I’m pregnant so this is a perfect alternative for me
Yum! Im all about the smoothie right now so those would be great all crushed up! 🙂
Your mocktail looks so pretty and I love cranberry. Now I am craving cranberry juice or one of your mocktails!
